Who pays for the return shipping?
Who pays for return shipping?
You generally pay for return shipping costs. The main exception is if an item arrives damaged or is incorrect—in that case, we cover the cost. Here’s a breakdown of how it works.
The Standard Return (Change of Mind)
If you are a consumer and you change your mind, you are responsible for the cost of sending the item back. This is part of the 14-day right of withdrawal.
You would cover the return shipping if you:
- Ordered the wrong size or product
- Decided you no longer want the item
When the Item is Damaged or Incorrect
If an item arrives defective, damaged, or is not what you ordered, please contact us immediately. In these cases, you are covered by the statutory guarantee, and you will not have to pay for the return shipping costs.
Common follow-up questions
How do I start a return?
You must inform us of your decision to return an item with a clear statement. The easiest way is to email us at orders@droppe.com or talk to us on the chat.
Can I return any product?
Not quite. There are a few exceptions to the right of withdrawal. You cannot return:
- Goods that have been customized or made to your specifications.
- Sealed items that have been opened and are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons.
When will I get my refund?
We will issue your refund after we receive the returned goods or after you provide proof that you've sent them back. The refund will include the original delivery costs (unless you chose a non-standard, more expensive delivery option).
