How does invoicing work?

How does invoicing work?

Paying by invoice is an option for eligible businesses, letting you pay after your order arrives. If you qualify, you typically have 30 days to pay. Here’s a quick rundown of how it works and what to keep in mind.

Paying by invoice

If invoice payment is available for you, it's a straightforward way to handle your orders.

Place your order: Select your items and proceed to checkout.
Choose invoice: If you're eligible, you'll see the option to pay by invoice.
Receive your order: The supplier will ship your items.
Pay the invoice: You'll need to pay the invoice by the due date, which is usually net 30 days.

Good to know: To check if you're eligible for invoice payments, we might need to run a credit check. This is a standard step to set up invoice terms.

What if my order changes?

Sometimes orders get adjusted. A supplier might only be able to send part of your order, or you might agree on a different price or quantity.

If your order is modified, we'll adjust the payment amount to match. This could mean updating the original invoice or creating a new one, but we'll only do this after you've confirmed the changes.

What happens if a payment is late?

It's important to pay your invoice on time to avoid extra fees.

Heads up: Late payments can lead to reminder fees and, eventually, collection costs.

Here’s the process for overdue invoices:
Reminders: We send payment reminders after 7, 14, and 21 days.
Collection: If an invoice is still unpaid after 28 days, it may be passed to a collection partner.
