How do I choose the right size for my workwear?

Getting the right fit for your workwear is crucial for both comfort and safety. The best way is to check the size chart on the product page, as sizes can vary a lot between brands. Here’s a quick guide to getting it right the first time.

How to find your perfect fit

Follow these simple steps to make sure you order gear that feels right and keeps you safe on the job.

Find the Size Chart: Look for a "Size Guide" or "Size Chart" link on the product page you're viewing. This is the most reliable source of information.
Take Your Measurements: Grab a measuring tape. For the most common measurements, you'll want to check your chest, waist, and inseam (the length from your crotch to the bottom of your leg).
Compare with the Chart: Match your measurements to the brand's chart. Each brand, like Fristads or Portwest, has its own sizing, so don't assume a "Large" from one fits like a "Large" from another.

Quick tip: Ask a friend to help you take measurements. It’s easier and usually more accurate.

Heads up: Product information, including size charts, comes directly from the brand. If a chart seems off or is missing, it's always best to double-check.

What if I order the wrong size?

It happens. If you get your gear and it doesn't fit, you can usually return it as long as you're a consumer.

To make a return, the item must be:
Completely unused and in a resalable condition.
In its original packaging.
Have all the original labels and tags still attached.

You must let us know you want to make a return within 14 days of receiving your order by emailing orders@droppe.com.

Good to know: Some items like custom-printed clothing or certain opened safety gear can't be returned for hygiene and safety reasons.

Common follow-up questions

Do different workwear brands have different sizing?

Yes, absolutely. A pair of work pants from Dimex might fit differently than the same size from Puma Workwear. Always, always check the specific size chart for the item you are buying.
