How can I check if a product is safe and certified?
How do I check if a product is safe and certified?
The short answer is: the supplier is responsible for making sure all products meet European safety standards, and we check that they do before they can sell on Droppe. Here’s how it works.
The supplier's responsibility
Think of Droppe as a marketplace connecting you with trusted European brands.
Every supplier who lists their products on our platform must first certify that their gear meets all required EU and local regulations. The legal responsibility for product safety, quality, and compliance rests entirely with the brand.
Where does product information come from?
All product details, like technical specs, images, and descriptions, are provided directly by the suppliers. Our job is to pass that information on to you.
If something doesn't look right or you need specific compliance documents, it's always a good idea to ask for confirmation.
What if a product is found to be non-compliant?
If we ever get an alert about a product that might not meet safety standards, we take it seriously. We work directly with the supplier—and European authorities if needed—to investigate and fix the issue right away.
