Are products certified for EU compliance?
Are products certified for EU compliance?
Yes, all products sold on Droppe come from brands that are required to meet EU standards. Before any brand can list their products on our platform, they must certify that their items comply with all applicable EU regulations and local laws.
Good to know: This process ensures that the workwear and supplies you buy are fit for professional use in Europe.
How compliance works on Droppe
We have a clear system to make sure brands meet their obligations:
Brand Approval: Before a brand can join Droppe, they must certify that their products meet all relevant EU regulations.
Listing Products: Only these approved brands are allowed to list products for sale on the platform.
Ongoing Responsibility: The brand (also called the supplier) is ultimately responsible for making sure their products are safe, high-quality, and compliant with all European and regional laws.
Heads up: Droppe is the platform that connects you to the suppliers, but the legal responsibility for product compliance always stays with the brand that manufactures or imports the goods.
What happens if there's a problem?
If we're ever alerted about a product that might not be compliant, we take it seriously. We work directly with the brand to investigate and resolve the issue, and if necessary, with the relevant European authorities.
Common follow-up questions
How can I check a specific product's certifications?
The best place to find details on standards (like EN codes for safety shoes) is on the product's page. If you can't find the information you need, just ask our team, and we can request it from the brand for you.
Are the brands all based in Europe?
Droppe is a platform that connects European buyers with European brands to ensure that all products follow European rules and legislation.
